wo zhen de ai bei jing!

Dude. I absolutely freaking love this city, and it's so great to be back! Everything back here is just as great as I remembered it to be...the 烤鸭 (kao ya), 绿茶 (lu cha - 统一, of course), the taxi drivers with the nonstop 儿儿儿儿儿儿儿儿儿 accent, the hella traffic everywhere, and getting cut in line everywhere (中国ed) by aggressive beijingren.

So of course this was the absolute first thing i bought as soon as I got into Beijing (in fact I'm currently finishing up my 2nd 2 liter bottle in four days)






舞美 (wu mei)....hands down the place i missed most from all of Beijing. This place is amazing and needs to be brought over to the states, ASAP.


The Great Wall. So while we were there, we saw this dude scale up the side of the wall with the help of a trebuchet-looking ladder thingie. We were convinced that it definitely was a belated attempt by the Mongolians to reconquer the middle kingdom.

Random things:

• We have a crazy video of Anthony partaking in a festive traditional Tibetan dance...will definitely be up on FB very very soon
  
• Its official. Dan has officially lost the poll. Thanks to all who voted for the right candidate!
  
• We met this rockin`expat chica who seriously thought that Dan and I were gay. Like seriously thought so.
  
• I`m never going to Vics again. That place completely destroys your eardrums. I needed a hearing aid the next morning. And Dan definitely contracted some sort of lung cancer. Well either from that or just the pollution, we can't tell yet
  
• Whatever you do, do not...I repeat...do NOT say “同性恋” ("gay") very loudly at a Bellagio restaurant in Beijing. Bad idea.
